The KRU-RN is an outdoor metal-clad switchgear of solid-insulated design (the "RN" denotes raspredelitel'noye naruzhnoye — outdoor distribution). Compact form factor and IP54 enclosure make it suitable for installation directly on substation foundations without a building.
